Hello friends!

I welcome you with open arms to join me as I share From My Heart.   I’m a wife, mom to four grown children, and Honey to seven grandchildren. My husband, Bill and I have two daughters, one son, and one adopted daughter in Bogota, Colombia.  Our two oldest daughters, Lauren and Katherine are married with children of their own and our youngest, Ryan recently married Courtney.  Our adopted daughter, Viviana is grown and works among the orphans in several institutions in Bogota, Colombia.  Our family continues to grow and our life experiences are expanding with each new addition.

We raised our family in small town Katy, Texas where I also grew up. We live in Katy where our children and grandchildren are near, although not close enough to whistle home for dinner as I did in their younger years as they played on and around our ten-acre spread.  Life is constantly changing as are we.  There is always an adventure waiting around the corner and yet another story to tell!

I blog From My Heart because I feel God’s pleasure as I speak through writing, the observations of Him at work around me.  I trust that as you follow, you will discover a word of encouragement from time to time.  So happy to have you follow me!
